ಅಯೋಧ್ಯೆ : ಅಯೋಧ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲಾದ ಹೊಸ ವಿಮಾನ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದ ಹೆಸರನ್ನ ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ವಿಮಾನ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ‘ಮಹರ್ಷಿ ವಾಲ್ಮೀಕಿ ಅಂತಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ವಿಮಾನ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣ’ ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರಿಡಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಮೂಲಗಳನ್ನು ಉಲ್ಲೇಖಿಸಿ ಸುದ್ದಿ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ಎಎನ್ಐ ವರದಿ ಮಾಡಿದೆ.
ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿ ಅವರು ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ 30 ರಂದು ವಿಮಾನ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣವನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
Maharishi Valmiki International Airport Ayodhya Dham
Ayodhya International Airport, officially Maharishi Valmiki International Airport Ayodhya Dham, is an upcoming international airport which will serve the cities of Ayodhya and Faizabad in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. The airport is located adjacent to NH-27 and NH-330 at Naka, Faizabad in Ayodhya district.
India Today has accessed the first visuals of the grand Ayodhya airport, which will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on December 30. Hectic preparations are underway to give final touches to the airport.
The newly-constructed Maryada Purshottam Shri Ram Ayodhya International Airport is poised to become a major gateway to the temple town. The cost of the first phase of construction for the airport is estimated to be approximately Rs 1,450 crore.
On December 30, IndiGo and Air India Express will operate inaugural flights to the newly-opened airport. Both airlines have already announced flights from Delhi, Mumbai, and Ahmedabad to Ayodhya, commencing in January 2024.
